It has been awhile since I have had any kind of giveaway. And since everyone has been so generous with me lately, I thought I would pass on some of the love to you.
Remember this book? I have two little items that were featured in here. It was so fun to see them come to life in these pages together with over 24 other projects.
If you would like this book all you need to do is:
Leave a comment here on this post.
Twitter about it and leave a second comment saying you did.
Post it on your Facebook and leave another comment here saying you did.
Finally, blog about it if you like and leave another comment here, saying you did. With a link too please :)
That gives you 4 seperate chances for you to enter this book giveaway. You can also use the book cover photo if you like. The giveaway will end on Monday, May 24th. I hope you have fun with it! Sharin’ the love.
Make Tea Not War, originally uploaded by mooosh ♥ miso funky.
And to add to the giveaway, I wanted to give you another little gift. If you order anything from my shop

Thanks for being sweet! And for more about the book, look here
I think I need to show you my two little projects that I made for the new book. They are both two items that I am still making today. They are so fun and easy.
This is the child’s apron. Featuring my favorite model. I was with my mom when I bought this fabric. I actually wasn’t going to buy any more tea towels. But she twisted my arm.
I really like to make the aprons. It lets the wonderful fabric be the focus.
This is the eye glass case. I thought it would be a cute gift to make someone to commemorate a special year, anniversary, or birthday. The calendar portion of the tea towel is what makes up the lining inside the case. I usually make these up using vintage tablecloth remnants. Whatever fabric you choose, have fun with it!
Really I did! Once I figured out that the package on my door step was for me I guessed at the surprise waiting inside for me.
Isn’t it just great! I again have 2 of my projects featured in this new book. I made a child’s apron, with the help of a handrawn pattern by my sister, and an eye glass case. If you flip through the pages you will also see a few tea towels from my own personal collection.
It is just all so great for me to see it all come together. The pictures are fantastic and the sewing projects are original and a lot of fun to see. This tea towel book is a companion to the pillowcase challenge book. What do you love to repurpose?
p.s. my sister Judith just wrote a blog post about book covers that you might also find amusing!
Here’s another great book review that I had to share with you! It’s from someone that has no personal ties with me, so is unbiased. They even mentioned my coaster’s!
And remember to enter the pillowcase challenge being held over at Lark Books! You have until April 30 to participate.
I’m updating my etsy this morning. Remember the baby items that I made for my girlfriend? I made another flower applique onesie and a burpcloth using the same summery yellow fabric. I’ll have to make a boy set to go with it too. It will be a tie onesie with a yellow minky burpie.
The sun was so perfect yesterday afternoon, that I ended up taking more pictures of my other little gift sets. When that I happens, I end up taking 10-15 pictures of the same item. Which is fun for me at the time. And then the next day I have to weed through my photos to find my favorite 5 that I can put on etsy. This I think is a good problem to have. Good lighting and good photos of my items.
