Katie was taught to sew by her 4-H Mom. That’s how she grew up with a flair for taking her beautiful collection of vintage linens found at estate sales and thrift shops from around the country and refashioning these treasured pieces into items to be enjoyed for generations anew. Presently, Katie is creating a new line of organic items handmade just for baby.

Dear Katie,
I took your Katie Jean business card from the ZNE Paperie event in Pleasanton earlier this month. I love your items and look forward to shopping for my new niece or nephew. Meanwhile . . .
I am writing a series of articles for my creativity coaching e-zine, You Have Moxie!, and I’d like to feature you in an interview. I highlight people who’ve taken bold steps to “break-through.” As I’m sure you know, creativity appears in all areas of life. I bring to light how people keep their moxie (mojo, derring-do, creativity, bravery, resourcefulness, etc.) working for them when others might quit. What do you say? Would you like to be a featured Moxie Maverick? I can send you the questions via e-mail.
A related intivation: This summer I will travel through Europe and interview more creatives there. I intend to write a book on Moxie Mavericks around the world. This would include you if you like. Do you have contacts in Ireland, Wales, England, Paris, Vienna, or Prague that might also like to be interviewed?
Cheers to you!
